Dr. Benjamin Sandler is an assistant clinical professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and attending physician at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York. He is co-director of Reproductive Medicine Associates L.L.P. and former director of The Center for Fertility and Assisted Reproduction in New Jersey. He was an associated physician at The Institute of Reproductive Medicine and Science of St. Barnabas from 1996 until 2001. Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Sandler received his training at the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where he completed his residency in gynecology and obstetrics. He continued his subspecialty fellowship training in Infertility and Reproductive Medicine at the Mt. Sinai Hospital, NY, where he was instrumental in the design and development of the "flare- up" stimulation protocols presently utilized for "low responding" IVF patients.

Dr.Sandler has authored several book chapters and articles on infertility and presented abstracts at both national and international meetings. He was the co-author of prize-winning papers in the area of Assisted Technologies at the prestigious American Society of Reproductive Medicine annual meetings in 1990,1991 and 1998.

Also known for his expertise in reproductive surgery, Dr. Sandler received special certification in advanced laparoscopy and advanced hysteroscopy by the Accreditation Council of Gynecologic Endoscopy. Dr. Sandler was selected for induction in the 'NY Metro Guide: How to Find the Best Doctors' and was recognized by New York Woman Magazine in 1991 as one of the best infertility specialists in New York. He has been named the recipient of the 2001 American Infertility Association "Family Building Award" for his years of dedication and commitment to the treatment of couples experiencing infertility.
