Dr. Kaplan completed both his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a two-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, Chicago. Subsequently Dr. Kaplan practiced for three years at University Hospital in London, Ontario, Canada, one of the largest IVF and infertility centers in North America. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He has published and presented nationally and internationally in the field of assisted reproductive technology.
