Dr. Cassidenti graduated
from the University of California, Berkeley with honors and then
received her medical degree from USC. She also completed her internship,
residency and fellowship training at USC, where she received specialized
training in microsurgical and laparoscopic techniques.
She joined Dr. Yee at
University Infertility Associates in Long Beach in 1991 as one of
the first women board certified as a Reproductive Endocrinologist
in greater Los Angeles and Orange County. She has published numerous
scholarly articles and papers pertaining to infertility and co-authored
the book, "Transvaginal Sonography in Infertility" with Drs.
Yee and Rosen.
As a clinical professor
in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University
of California, Irvine, Dr. Cassidenti actively participates in the
education and training of medical students and residents. She also
serves as a lecturer for annual courses put on by the university
to further the education of practicing physicians and midwives and
especially enjoys giving seminars and workshops to the community
on infertility.
Dr. Cassidenti resides
in Laguna Niguel with her husband, also a physician, and their two
daughters.
