James Robert Stelling, M.D. is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He did his undergraduate studies at Cornell University and is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dr. Stelling also did his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine where he was awarded Resident of the Year. Following residency, Dr. Stelling completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Dr. Stelling is a native of Long Island and joined Reproductive Science Associates following his fellowship in July of 1999. He currently holds the position of Assistant Clinical Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Stelling is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, The Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, The Endocrine Society, The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, The Suffolk Ob/Gyn Society and The American Medical Association.

Dr. Stelling is licensed in the states of New York and Massachusetts. He has researched and published papers in the area of uterine anomalies. Dr. Stelling finds time to relax with his family on his boat "Fishing for Follicles".
