Dr. Schinfeld is director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Abington Memorial Hospital and a clinical associate professor at Jefferson Medical College. He has more than 20 years of experience teaching laser surgery and performing microversals of tubal ligations and has lectured at over 100 hospitals, professional societies and medical schools nationwide.

"My father was an OB, and practiced into his seventies," Dr. Schinfeld explains. " Despite all the late nights and weekends his work required, he never lost his intense love for and fascination with the moment of birth. I feel the same way about the moment of creation. After 26 years, I still look forward to coming to work to help my patients, even on weekends and during holidays. For me, helping other people create families is a source of endless joy."
