Kristen Elsa Cain, M.D.
is a graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Johns
Hopkins Hospital department of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency
program. After doing a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology
and Infertility at the University of California in Los Angeles,
she returned to the East Coast to serve on the faculty at the State
University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Cain has been practicing
in the area for five years. One of the things she enjoys most about
her job is the ability to get to know her patients very well and
then to help them realize their dream of becoming parents. She has
particular interest in polycystic ovary syndrome, menopause and
premature ovarian failure.
Dr. Cain is a Fellow
of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a member
of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Ob/Gyn Society
of Suffolk County and the Suffolk County Medical Society. She currently
holds an appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department
of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the State University of New York
at Stony Brook.
