Dr. Weckstein completed his undergraduate and medical training at the University of Michigan and OB/GYN residency at the University of California, Irvine. After establishing a successful private practice of OB/GYN in Southern California, he returned to UC Irvine for specialty training in infertility with special emphasis in Assisted Reproductive Technologies. Dr. Weckstein joined the Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area in 1990. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and is a member of the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology and the Society of Reproductive Surgeons. Dr. Weckstein has authored more than 50 publications and abstracts. Areas of special interest include Oocyte Donation, Assisted Reproductive Technology, and the immunology of infertility and pregnancy loss.
