Dr. Yazigi is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology/infertility, and with nearly twenty years of clinical experience, Dr. Yazigi received his medical degree from University of Chile, Magna Cum Laude in 1978. He had his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sotero del Rio Hospital, Chile and at State University of New York at Nassau County Medical Center, NY. He pursued a Research Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, CT. and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO. Dr. Yazigi was Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Temple University School of Medicine, PA from 1991 to 1996 and joined the GBMC Fertility Center, Baltimore, MD in 1997. He is currently Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Yazigi has published numerous scientific papers and has lectured both in the country and abroad. He is the recipient of Research Awards both in the United States and overseas and is member of national and foreign Medical Specialty Societies. Dr. Yazigi serves as ad-hoc reviewer for the Journal of Reproductive Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fertility and Sterility, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Journal of Pelvic Surgery. He is trained in Robotic Surgery (DaVinci laparoscopy), the state-of-the-art technique for outpatient reversal of tubal ligation and other fertility surgical procedures. Languages: English, Spanish.
