Quality Improvement

Ongoing programs are important for continuous quality improvement. Yet, most fertility practices do not possess the internal expertise to develop and maintain these programs. The Company has invested in providing access to systematic methods of maintaining and improving quality outcomes without dictating clinical care.

Risk Management

Increased third party scrutiny of reproductive services is occurring due to rapid advances in technology, which increases potential liability. Practice liability can be mitigated through structured procedures to limit risk. For example, the Company has invested heavily in developing and maintaining the best informed consent documents available in the industry and has worked with its insurers to develop risk management protocols to contain and limit practice risks.

Physician Networking

Company paid participation in regional and national meetings of network physicians.

Council of Physicians and Scientists

Created to advise the Company on best Practice Standards for the Reproductive Science Centers and to oversee the Company's Research Institute. The Council is comprised of physician representatives from each Reproductive Science Center, affiliated physicians and embryologsits, and thought leaders in embryology.

IntegraMed Research Institute

The Company is developing relationships with pharmaceutical companies, device manufacturers and other businesses involved in producing goods and services in reproductive medicine. Some of these relationships provide access to multi-center clinical trials and funds for research and development program opportunities through the Council of Physicians and Scientists. The Research Institute enables the Reproductive Science Center to be on the cutting edge of development for new fertility therapy and offers patients access to the latest treatment modalities.
